Update: it seems as though this problem was particular to an earlier version of RC3 (sorry can’t remember which version number), the latest revision does not have this bug.

I’ve only begun working with the new TXP RC3 and there’s already a problem my first problem has resolved itself magically!

When first installing the latest revision of Textpattern, the diagnostics said path to site is inaccessible and images directory is read only. Now these issues are magically gone.

This is not the first time I’ve seen this, which proves that one can almost expect this to occur the first time you install the new rc3. Just log in- and out a few times and it should go away.
