Update: August 1, 2005 – RC5 has now been released and it’s got some nice new built in features, including thumbnail image creation using GD library. blog9 is now running RC5, and TXP 1.0 is on the way!

Yeah people! We’re now one major step closer to Textpattern 1.0 (official release). Dean Allen just released TXP version 1.0 RC4. More details available over at TXP Magazine.

Now it’s time to upgrade! Hopefully all goes well. Wish me luck!

Don't believe me? Here's what others are saying...

  • Hey Alex! Glad to hear from you. It literallly took me 5 minutes!

Now I just need to finish the building this site, especially styling the comments!

  • Help! It seems RC4 is not applying Textile to comments. Anyone got suggestions?

  • just a test

  • something very strange is happening here. posted 2 test comments with textile, saw them and then they disappeared…

btw Terry, nice blog site, great header. i could imagine the commentboxes with slight round corners would look nice.

  • Thanks Alex. Round corners are definitely going to happen.

I guess the weird thing is that textile is not creating paragraph tags around the text.

  • A bit more testing.

If you are using Internet Explorer for the MAC, you'll notice this website looks a little strange. That's because we've chosen not to provide full CSS support for that browser. All content is still accessible, it's just not as pretty - but neither is your browser. For the full meal deal, we recommend upgrading your web browser.
